It is said that Krishna is only satiated by devotional service in loving servitude and Radha is the personification of devotional service to the supreme lord. This love and bhakti is compareable only to the divinity of the sacred Surbhi cow that Krishna so divinely loved next only to Radha. The marriage of Shiv and Parvati is Nirguna conceived as Saguna. Shiva the formless, the infinite , has to be brought out from his inner ecstasy. The beauty, needs and aspiration of this world has to take the form of Parvati in order to take up its right place on the lap of god.
