A part of my series of "Sacred Geography" is Annapurna mountain range of Gandaki Province.Annapurna is an incarnation of the Goddess Parvati, the wife of Shiva who resides there. Scenes in temples often depict Vishnu reaching out to Annapurna with his begging bowl, a human skull, asking her to provide him with food that will give him the energy to reach enlightenment.
The name Annapurna is derived from the Sanskrit-language words purna ("filled") and anna ("food"), and can be translated as "everlasting food".

During the blue "hour", red light passes through space while blue light is scattered in the atmosphere, and thus reaches Earth's surface. Blue hour usually lasts about 20–96 minutes right after sunset and right before sunrise. The time of year, location, and air quality all have an impact on the exact timing of blue hour.
We might understand this “blue hour” as analogous to the photographic event, whether political, geological, cosmological or philosophical, that occurs between the present and itself, between the movement of time and itself.

Tungnath is one of the highest Shiva temples in the world, and is the highest of the five Panch Kedar temples.
This temple was built by the Pandavas at this place to worship Lord Shiva and please him.
The name of the temple has been derived as 'Tung' meaning arms and 'Nath' symbolizing Lord Shiva.
It is said that each of these sites is dedicated to a part of the Lord - Kedarnath (the hump of Lord Shiva), Madhmaheshwar (His belly button), Tungnath (His arms), Rudranath (His face), Kalpeshwar (His jata or hair).
